Hi, I’m Jon. 👋

I help SMB digital agencies deliver their best work, build trust with their clients, and create systems to operate effectively as they scale. 🎯🫵🤓

Over the last decade, I’ve worked with some of the most dynamic and innovative digital agencies in the industry. I’ve been in teams that punched well above their weight, and I understand the challenges they need to overcome.

I’ve been a developer, project manager, producer, head of operations and delivery lead.

In my last role, I was responsible for overseeing our entire portfolio of projects across multiple development teams around the world. I had to manage ensuring consistent high quality and timely delivery - and more importantly - handle delivery issues!

I saw it all…

• 💨 Last minute projects rushed to start, destined to fail
• 😤 Developers being pushed to work around unmet dependencies, increasing complexity
• ⚽️ Senior stakeholders moving the goalposts at the 11th hour
• 🌊 Project managers drowning
• 😖 Stressed clients

Then in 2022, after working tirelessly to support these teams, I needed to change my approach.

I figured that if I could help the people in these types of teams to be preparted to handle these challenges before they were in the heat of battle, it would give better outcomes for everyone involved!

What now?

So, I’ve gone out on my own, to coach project managers and delivery teams in how to be the best they can be. Not just for their clients, but for themselves too.

Instead of tackling the processes “Top ➡️ Down”, I’m working with individuals to make a difference from the “inside ↔️ out”.

Now it’s time for me to help teams like yours grow and win!

Working in these fast-paced environments has given me invaluable experience in navigating complex digital challenges and identifying opportunities for growth and optimisation - not to mention keeping the most demanding clients happy!

I’ll work with your team to teach them how to work efficiently and effectively, delivering high-quality results within tight deadlines and to a budget. We’ll build systems to help automate and organise processes, allowing your team to focus on the work that needs to be hands-on.

Whilst I usually work remotely, I’m currently based in Cheltenham, a Regency spa town on the edge of the Cotswolds in the UK. It’s known for the Gold Cup and Cheese Rolling.

When I’m not working with clients, you can find me building electric guitars 🎸 with my dad, riding my mountain bike 🚴 with friends, or going on adventures with my wife Emma (an amazing artist) and our dog Gibson 💃🐕.
